18 Field Staff Directors Join – The NETWORK
God is expanding the ministry network of DNA by calling 18 men and couples to join us part-time and full-time as Field Staff Directors (FSDs).
The FSDs are encouraged to continue all existing relationships, whether in business or vocational ministry. The role of FSD with DNA may be full-time or part-time, with the FSD operating much like a manufacturer’s representative in adding the DNA involvement to existing ministry and business affiliations. Each FSD determines his or, in the case of couples, their available capacity, calling, and vocation. The FSD’s goals, vision, and calling must be not only compatible with, but complementary to DNA. We seek to unify, come alongside, and partner with proven disciple makers in established ministries in a mutually beneficial way.
The ministry philosophy and systems of DNA and FSDs are as follows:
- We seek our association with ministries to be unifying, edifying, and fruitful for all involved.
- We encourage FSDs to build into and equip disciple makers who would be leaders of another generation of ministry leaders within their areas of influence and calling.
- Each FSD meets the following required characteristics:
- Proven as a spiritual reproducer and dedicated to the work of building disciples
- Called by God and passionate about engaging in the spiritual warfare of each day and seeing God change lives
- Mature in faith, emotion, and experience both personally and professionally
- Strong in ability to relate to, and network with, people
- Supported largely by existing funding from either a secular job or ministry support base
- The National Ministry Center is self-sustaining and will not charge a service charge, now or in the future.
- Each FSD has the opportunity (but is not required) to receive the following services at no cost to the FSD:
- Legal and accounting assistance through the establishment of a local DNA bank account for ministry funds that will be given, held, and invested locally, as directed by the FSD
- Year-end accounting reporting under DNA’s 501(c)3 non-profit status
- Assistance, training, and the pursuit of fund development for support of the FSD’s ministry
- Ministry grants from the National Ministry Center in the first, second, and third years of being an FSD
- Should the FSD desire to establish a local DNA bank account and use DNA’s outside monthly accounting service, all expenses for such services will be borne by the National Ministry Center for three years, after which the future cost, estimated to be $2,500 to $3,500, will be borne by the FSD.
- The National Ministry Center staff and FSDs will attend an annual staff conference and monthly relationship and ministry conference calls.
- All parties of this association seek the benefit of:
- More effective, timely, and thorough teaching, modeling, and follow-up for discipleship
- Co-laboring with like-minded brothers and couples who are committed to God’s work of sharing the gospel and building disciple makers
- A shared vision for a greater-than-local impact and life-changing ministry
- Shared leadership, administration, and ministry opportunities
- The opportunity for flexibility in pursuing an individual’s calling, ministry, and business involvements that are ongoing in local areas
- The opportunity to test, explore, and implement new and innovative forums for, and approaches to, making disciples
